About
Dominic A. Garduño is an attorney at Mandy Hancock Law, PLLC in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he advises and advocates for clients in family law, criminal defense, and estate-planning-related matters. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in December 2020 and has built his practice on thorough preparation, clear client communication, and practical, results-oriented strategy.
Originally from Prescott, Arizona, Dominic earned dual bachelor’s degrees in American Political Studies and Criminology and Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University before obtaining his J.D. from Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law in 2020. During law school, he focused heavily on trial advocacy, serving as Executive President of the Mock Trial organization and receiving the school’s Trial Advocacy Excellence Award for Best All-Around Advocate. He also served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Charles A. Cerny, Jr.
Dominic is a Certified Estate Planner™ (CEP) through the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners (NICEP). He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star (2022–2025) and has received additional professional distinctions including Elite Lawyer (since 2024), National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys Top 10 Under 40, and National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 (Criminal Defense). In addition to his practice, Dominic is an adjunct professor at Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law, where he coaches a section of the travel mock trial team.
Outside the office, he enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fishing, and watching minor league baseball.
